The School Council plays an important role in helping the school community grow and thrive. Its members listen carefully to the ideas and opinions of their classmates, ensuring every voice is heard as they work to build a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

They promote kindness, respect and fairness, and they lead positive changes through projects and events that help the school succeed. By working as a team, solving problems, and continually learning and developing, the Council aims to make a real difference. Like a tree with strong roots, the School Council is committed to helping the school flourish and become the best it can be.

The Junior Leaders play a vital role in supporting the school through their commitment to service. They act as positive role models, using their words and actions to help others grow. Through the jobs and responsibilities they are given, they develop independence, confidence, and a strong sense of responsibility.

As active members of the school community, they work to make the school a better place for everyone. They live out the school’s vision and values each day and show acts of service by putting others first and offering help wherever it is needed. Junior Leaders also support the emotional regulation of other pupils, helping them “get back into the green zone” when they are finding things difficult. By doing their best each day, the Junior Leaders help the school grow stronger and ensure it is a place where everyone feels supported and valued.

The Young Leaders play an important role in supporting the school through their commitment to service and by acting as positive role models. They demonstrate the school’s Vision and Values through their words and actions, taking responsibility for the tasks and jobs assigned to them. As the oldest children in Key Stage One, they continue to grow in independence while actively contributing to the school community.

They support both adults and children, ensuring their behaviour reflects kindness, responsibility, and service. By putting others first and helping wherever they can, the Young Leaders work together to make the school a better place for everyone. As they grow in confidence and responsibility, they help strengthen the school community, ensuring it remains a place where everyone feels supported and valued.

The Eco Committee is dedicated to helping the school become a greener and more sustainable place. Its members develop a strong understanding of how to care for the environment and inspire others to do the same. They encourage the whole school community to make thoughtful choices that protect and nurture the world around them.

Through leading projects that reduce waste, save energy, and care for nature, the Eco Committee works to make a positive and lasting difference. By working as a team, they share ideas and create meaningful changes that help the school community grow and flourish in a healthy environment. As they continue to learn and develop, the Eco Committee remains committed to making the school a place where both people and nature can thrive.

The Digital Leaders are committed to helping the school community grow and thrive through the safe and effective use of technology. They develop strong digital knowledge so they can support others confidently and responsibly. By encouraging sensible online behaviour, they guide their classmates to make wise choices and show respect in all digital spaces. They share what they learn to create a positive and supportive learning environment, using technology to help everyone achieve their full potential.

Working together, the Digital Leaders develop new skills and contribute to creative projects that benefit the whole school. They lead by example, staying curious and continuing to grow in their understanding of technology, helping the school flourish in an ever‑changing digital world.

Together, they help nurture a strong, safe, and supportive digital community where everyone can grow and succeed.
